GET TO KNOW ME
Grief and Trauma Specialist
I am a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in California, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State, and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.
I specialize in helping teens and adults heal from trauma and loss. In life, we can't experience love or life transitions without also experiencing loss, but sometimes our grief feels overwhelming and we can become stuck, unable to move forward in ways that feel more positive. I provide a warm, person-centered approach to therapy and together we can begin the healing process and help you rediscover what brings meaning to your life.
I also have experience in counseling individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, family conflict, and adjustment, identity, and relationship issues. My approach to therapy is both eclectic and relational, and includes training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Contemporary Gestalt training.
